Widget Cat is a virtual pet app for iPhone and Android, made by Orango Labs Ltd (“we”). This policy explains what data the app uses, what stays on your device, and how to reach us. It applies to the apps and to this website.
Your cat lives on your device
There is no account and no sign-up. Your cat’s name, looks, needs, routine, accessories and memories are stored only on your device. We do not run a server that receives them.
Photos (the see-through widget)
If you set up the see-through widget, you choose one screenshot of your home screen from your photo library. The app cuts the piece of wallpaper behind the widget and keeps it on your device, in storage shared only with the app’s own widget. It is never uploaded. The app does not read any other photos.
Notifications
If you turn reminders on, gentle reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not use push notifications and do not receive a push token.
Purchases
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We use RevenueCat to confirm which purchases are active so Premium can be restored on a new device. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history from the store; it does not receive your name, email or payment details. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy. Apple and Google handle payment details under their own policies.
No tracking or advertising
The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics, and it does not track you across apps or websites. This website is static and sets no advertising cookies.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes your cat and everything stored with it. Cancelling Premium is done in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
Children
Widget Cat is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
